Pets Improving Mental Health

Animals can help us feel better when we’re upset by doing lots of things. Pets have been proven to improve mental health. 74% of pet owners say that their mental health has gotten better since getting a pet. What makes them so helpful, though? This can be from a large number of habits, like making us less lonely, lowering stress, etc. Tyger Armstrong (10) has a pet who helps in a different way. “My dog, Frankie, helps me mentally by cuddling me,” Armstrong (10) said. “She gets close to me often and we sit together.” Every pet has their own ways of assisting the human(s) living with them, and we should appreciate their effort and habits.

Frankie was thinking that Tyger needed comforting. She tries getting close to her to tend to her needs.
