Since next week is the last week of this quarter, most classes will be having their nine-week tests. Last year and the years before, we had semester exams throughout the year but this year it changed. I went around in some of my classes and asked some of my classmates and friends if they would rather have semester exams or quarter exams. As a result, all voters said they like semester exams more. “I’d rather have semester exams because if I have an A all semester, I don’t have to take them and I get an extra week off school,” Emma Rucks said. Most kids tried to get A’s all semester and this year, I don’t think the students have the same motivation to keep their grades up so high.
