This week I noticed that the percentages were very similar. I asked 18 people what song they were listening to hip hop(9), country(4), pop(4), and Jazz(1). Some artists included Baby Keep, Lil Baby, Drake, Zach Bryan, Christian Scott, and more. The song that multiple different people were listening to was Headlines by Drake. This was the first week someone was listening to jazz. I bring this up because Jazz will only be brought up a couple of times throughout these reports, being a rare type of music. This week I asked a different question: “How do you feel about teachers making you turn your phone off”( meaning no music). One of the responses I received was “ I can’t listen to my music anymore which usually helped me get through the day,” Lane James said. Another response I received was “This rule has helped me to focus more in class, I think it’s overall for the better,” Gavin Kindell said. This shows that the response to this question could go both ways depending on the kind of student I ask.
