Lots of people have a specific animal they’ve loved for a long time. The most common include cats or dogs. This often roots from growing up with a cat or dog, therefore naturally liking that animal more than others. Some people, like Devon Ferell (11), like cats. “My favorite animal is a cat; in fact, I have one named Penny. I’ve had her since the day she was born.” Ferell (11) said. Having a cat has likely caused her to enjoy cats more because she has experience with them. Everyone has different attachments to certain animals that may or may not directly relate to a pet they have.
