 NHS Promotes student leadership and success. It stands for National honors society and is the most widely recognized co curricular student organization. It recognizes students that excel in their grade. NHS offers over 400 college scholarship programs for excelling students. There are currently 1.4  million students attending this program for extra scholarships. The organization was founded in 1941 Dr. Edward Rynearson and sourced by google he is “a member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), which is the parent organization of the NHS.” It was founded in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, US. They’re also a database with many initiatives to interact with.
