Just like any class or club, the HOSA club is a team collaborative group. Everyone works together, learns together, and advances together. We all want to help people/patients and treat them with a nice and maybe even a new atmosphere.
If you have ever had a check up or have been in the nursing home, you would notice that typically CNA’s are partnered up and there is a doctor usually talking to a nurse. Everyone within the medical field has to be willing to work and communicate together to supply the world with a nice but helpful environment.
Working and practicing in the medical field may be stressful, but it becomes much easier when you have help from others. Your peers and many other people could possibly provide you with the knowledge that you may have trouble with.
Everyone deserves to receive and give help. There are always new things to learn within the medical field, and it is always easier to have a working hand.
“Doing skills with a partner is really fun and after watching the video on how to complete a skill, you can get to practice with your partner on the mannequins and correct each other if anyone messes up. Practice makes perfect,” Alexis Brown (12th) said.
