Abigail Mata is eating lunch at the cafeteria. The way she gets here is after her fifth period she heads towards the cafeteria and sits down next to the others, she eats lunch with her friends to talk and mess around.

Abigail Mata is a 17-year-old high school student in 11th grade. Like most students, she goes through her classes doing work and talking to friends. Sometimes classes can be boring, but there are some classes Mata enjoys. Some of these classes include Chemistry and Band. First, let’s start with chemistry, Previously Mata and the rest of her chemistry class learned about electron configuration, and chemical compounds, as well as recently learning how to use heat to separate magnesium from water. “I love science,” Mata said. Mata also plays in the band. She plays tenor saxophone and is currently doing marching band with their next midgame show, which is going to be called, Sand and Stone. This show is going to be Egyptian-themed during half-time at the football game.
