Jumping Into Rodeo With OHS

The OHS’s first rodeo will be held in Davie, Florida on 9/14 to 9/15. The rodeo is a Florida High school rodeo. Their next rodeo will be in Bushnell Florida October 12-13th. There are roughly 90 participants in the rodeo but out of the 90 participants there will only be 13 highschool students. There are also some high school students participating in the Florida little britches association. Florida little britches association is a youth association for kids ages 5-18. “At a rodeo usually I wake up about two hours before the start time and feed my horses. Then usually about an hour before I need to be in the arena I make sure my horses are groomed and feeling good, saddle them and make sure all my tack is safe to use (not broken etc), then I head up to the arena for my run” Kaelin Hegarty (10) said.
