A High School student who runs and works two businesses all by herself while attending high school.
So first to start off throughout this week I interviewed Jo’selyn Smith (10) who is running not just one business but two businesses all while attending high school. Also as someone who is in 10th grade and attending high school, I couldn’t imagine how hard it would be to run one business but two is very impressive and I want to know how she juggles attending high school and running her two businesses. So the first question I asked Smith was how she manages her time and can do all that within her schedule. “I do all my work after school and actually have quite some time to do a lot for my two businesses and while I’m at school I can even get clients by getting people from school to get their nails done by me and I just do all my graphic designs online which really isn’t that bad nor hard,” Smith said. Still, I think that it’s very impressive what Smith can do all within her days. Also, I asked Smith one other question which was what made her want to pursue running two businesses and whether she will still see herself doing it in the future. “What made me want to pursue this is I just love staying busy and not being bored and having nothing to do and I just love doing nails and designing stuff which is what made me want to pursue this and yes I absolutely see me still doing it in the future because I will be more educated and have better skills in all of it,” Smith said. After hearing all that from Smith I just really think that’s amazing and that she has an amazing mindset and is going on the right path in life. Also, this just shows how much people can do and get done when they have the right mindset and put in the work. So yes it is very much possible to run and own your own business or businesses all while attending high school even running two!!!
