The Okeechobee JV Volleyball played against St Edwards. The Jv team had a hard time starting in the game, but after a timeout that was called by their coach they got a drink of water and then talked about what they needed to fix so they could win the game. If their coach never called the timeout, then the Brahmans would have most likely taken another loss. In other words, without this timeout the JV team might have taken another loss, but thankfully they pulled it together and came out with a win. Sadly the Varsity teams game didn’t end up being like the JV(A) game. The Varsity team lost against St Edwards, although they lost they still were able to learn from their mistakes. This will allow them to be better once they fix what they are doing wrong.
“We talked about how we needed to start calling the ball and communicating, and that we needed to lock in and focus and play our position and to keep serving good because that’s one of the only things we were doing really good at and we told each other to not get mad at our teammates,” Rayna Leary said (9).
