When we speak about differences, this not only includes how different everyone is as individuals. It also includes the differences in everyone’s conditions. Everyone goes through different things within their pasts, so it is important for us, as caretakers, to understand and treat them politely.
Differences can include where someone is mentally, a condition that they have, an illness or even a syndrome. Patients can’t help the way they feel which is one thing that makes HOSA special. We help fulfill their needs where we treat them politely and help them feel comfortable.
Not only does HOSA help patients, but we also help families. When times come to where patients have changed mentally or do not have cognitive functions to the point where families can’t take care of them anymore, that’s when we come in. We also help when It can become hard on families to watch their loved ones change or even forget them.
