The OHS’s next bass tournament will be the Harris chain in Leesburg FL. This tournament is considered a south trail. The weigh-in will be in Venetian Gardens. How some of the OHS teams will be preparing for the tournament is by pre-fishing the lake and trying different lures and spots to see what the fish are eating and how they respond to the colder weather change coming into October. “The lures I will be using are top water bait, chatter bait, and a senko,” Mathew Beville (9) said. The structures Mathew will be fishing around are lily pads. Mathew is going to prepare for the colder weather and try to get the bass to bite. He is hoping to get his team’s limit by 12 pm.
