OHS Bass Team Preparing For Lake Harris

“Michael McLeod catches two three pound bass”

The OHS bass team is preparing for their tournament the sixteenth through the seventeenth. When they pre-fish they have to learn and prepare for what obstacles they will face. Some obstacles they will have to face is knowing what lures to fish with and the times the bass will be biting. They will also have to prepare their tackle and set up their rods with the lures they will be using come tournament day. Another obstacle that they will have to factor in is the weather. The weather will play a huge role in how each team will fish. It will play a huge role because if there is a lot of wind then you do not want to be in the open water you will want to find some cover so you don’t get impacted as much by the wind. “I will be preparing the day before the tournament so I am ready for tournament day,” Michael McLeod (10) said.
