Baylee Gray works at Winn Dixie when she has time or decides to. She works there to earn money and save up for later in life.

The person I interviewed this week for people who work while attending high school is Baylee Gray (10), who attends Okeechobee High School and works at Winn Dixie when it suits her. To begin with, Gray’s mom works in Winn Dixie’s bakery, and that’s how she can come to work there when she feels like it suits her. But the first thing I asked Gray in her interview was does she enjoys working with her mom and being able to work whenever you feel like it. “Of course, I enjoy working with my mom she is literally my built-in best friend and I love working with her yes I enjoy being able to work whenever I feel like it because I can still have a life out of school and work but still make money,” Gray said. From that response from Gray, I think it’s really amazing that she has that close of a bond with her mom and how she can still live her life outside of school and work. The next question I asked Gray was are there ever times when you wish you didn’t work at Winn Dixie and worked somewhere else. “Yes I do have times where I don’t want to work at Winn Dixie because I can only do things in the bakery with my mom but I really just do the same things over and over and I just wish to do and try doing different things,” Gray said. Lastly from that response, it’s very understandable and makes a lot of sense why Gray sometimes thinks that but it’s still amazing that she still has her mom to work with.
