Before we begin the post, we must pay our respects and honor Bernie Marcus, a visionary whose generosity and dedication to civic engagement continued to shape the future across Florida. Marcus Foundation, his voice has reached many young people, empowering them and inspiring them. He believed in the FDI’s mission to boost civics literacy through competitive speech or debate programs. As we carry this mission forward, we are reminded of his passion and his steadfast support. His investment in civics education laid the foundation that now serves countless students, allowing them to be able to use tools to engage confidently in their communities and beyond that. “We thank you, Mr. Marcus and we will continue to move forward with this mission.” Hollie Adams said.
