The Okeechobee basketball team had a home game on December 11, 2024. The Jv game was very intense and the Brahmans lost only by 9 points. The score of that game was 20-29. Fortunately, the varsity team played a better game than the Jv team. Okeechobee’s Varsity team for basketball gained another win by playing really hard and trying their best and keeping each other in check to make sure they are all doing their jobs to help the team win.The boys started the game off with a good lead by playing hard. With this lead they were able to be more relaxed the rest of the game and not have to worry about the other team catching up to them. The final score was 34-54. “I am thankful for my team and being able to play with them. They are all really good and I think we are going to have a great season,” Chris Evans (11) said. As Chris just said, he has faith in his team and thinks they are good and that they will have a good season.
