To Begin with, the person I interviewed this week for high school students who work and attend Okeechobee High School is Hannah Platt (10), who works at a family-owned business called Bravo Supermarket with her family. So, at the beginning of this interview with Platt, I learned a couple of things about her, like how Bravo Supermarket has been passed through for a couple of generations in her family and how much she really enjoys being able to work with her family. The first question I asked Platt in the interview was how long have you been helping out at your family’s business and what does she do there. “I started helping out with my family’s business since I would say five or six when I would just welcome people and help stock the shelves with my mom and what I do now is really everything I help greet, stock shelves, clean, and also organize,” Platt said. To myself, I think that it is really amazing and crazy how Platt has been working since she was five or six years old which I just think is outstanding and probably made the job easier as she got older. The next question and last question I asked Platt was if there was anything you dislike about working with your family or your job. “Yes, there are things I dislike about my job for instance I love my family but there are just times I need a break from them but you can’t really get that when you also work with your family but we get over bumps on the road like just arguing but at the same time I feel like that helps us grow more together and I wouldn’t change working them for the world,” Platt said. From that response from Platt to end our interview I feel it makes very much sense and is very understandable and she shows and tells us how even through hard times you still make it to the end and you always have a family.
