This week I asked my classmates whether they would prefer an electric car or a gas-powered car. A lot of students like electric cars because they’re better for the environment, cheaper to maintain, and have awesome features. They also save money on gas and are quieter to drive. Plus, they’re becoming more popular and trendy. But some students stick with gas cars because they’re cheaper upfront, easier to refuel, and have a longer range. Gas cars also feel more familiar and are usually more affordable. “I like electric cars better because they are better for the environment and I like how they’re designed,” Guadalupe Bucio (10) said. In conclusion, most students prefer electric cars over gas-powered cars.
