Two weeks ago on Wednesday, the Tobacco Free Partnership of Okeechobee County extended to Community Engagement by being a sponsor at the Okeechobee Youth Livestock Show. This partnership / sponsorship of the Youth Livestock Show has helped to strengthen the community ties of our Tobacco Free Partnership, TFP is excited to support this local cherished annual showing. With thousands of the residents attending through the week, the sponsorship had given us the opportunity to project tobacco free initiatives while celebrating local youth in agriculture As part of this sponsorship / partnership some of the Ambassadors from Tobacco Free Partnership, with one on one interactions they had educated community members with the knowledge of the importance of creating tobacco free areas in order to keep our youth clean of it.
