This is a turtle that Erika Maya Lugo (10) crocheted. She prefers crocheting more than knitting.
This week I asked my classmates whether they would prefer to crochet or knit. Almost all students said they would prefer to crochet because it is easier than knitting. Crocheting is considered easier than knitting because it only requires a single hook. Also crocheting is more forgiving than knitting because if you make a mistake it is easier to undo the stitch in crocheting. You can crochet or knit with any type of yarn. Erika Maya Lugo (10) started crocheting a few months ago and she said it was pretty easy to learn. “I like crocheting more than knitting because it’s relaxing and I don’t like using knitting needles,” Erika Maya Lugo (10) said. In conclusion, students prefer crocheting more than knitting.
