On April 17, 2025, Okeechobee’s softball team played against Lake Placid High School. In the begging of the game they were loosing by five, but then they picked up their slack and played hard and ended the game with a win. The final score was 10-9. “I love playing softball with these girls, and getting to help them out and watching them get better through the season, and can’t wait to help these girls out again next year,” said Tehya Nunez (10). The softball team helps each other get better throughout the season by telling each other what to do during certain plays and keeping each other accountable.
