Case Prescott works at Los Cocos while attending Okeechobee High School. He does this because he wants to earn money and save for a dirt bike and more speakers.

The person I interviewed this week for high school students who work and attend Okeechobee High School is Case Prescott (9), who works at Los Cocos. Before interviewing Prescott, some background on him, he’s my cousin, and he is obsessed with buying dirtbikes and spends a lot of money on speakers for his truck as well. Also, I know what he told me before the interview, that he just started working at Los Cocos, and it’s his first official job. But the first question I asked Prescott was what he does at Los Cocos and how long he plans on working there. “Right now, I just wash dishes and am a busboy who cleans up the tables after people are done, and I probably will just work at Los Cocos until I get bored with it or find a better job,” Prescott said. Hearing that response from Prescott is definitely different from responses I’ve heard from other people I interviewed, and very interesting. The second and last question I asked Prescott was how long he thinks it will take for him to have enough for the ditbike and speakers he wants to buy. “Probably a few months, I would think, but I’ll most likely want to get more, so I couldn’t really tell you,” Prescott said. The response from Prescott was interesting, as well as the first one, and definitely a different way of thinking about saving up for things.
