This week I asked my classmates whether they prefer summer vacation or winter break. Most students like summer vacation more than winter break because it’s longer and more fun. Summer has warm weather, so kids can play outside, go swimming, ride bikes, or go on trips with their families. There are also fun summer camps and more time to hang out with friends. Kids don’t have to worry about homework or school for a long time. Winter break is nice too, but it’s short and cold, so people stay inside more. Summer just feels more free and exciting. That’s why students usually like summer vacation better than winter break. “I like summer vacation more than winter break because I don’t have to worry about homework and I like the warm sunny weather,” Yoselin Ramirez (10) said. In conclusion, students prefer summer vacation more than winter break.
