Kimber Ferrell works at 441 North Drive-Thru while attending Okeechobee High School. She does this to save time and loves seeing so many different people.
The person I interviewed this week for high school students who work and attend Okeechobee High School is Kimber Ferrell (11), who works at 441 North Drive-Thru. Before interviewing Ferrell, some background I got of her was how she loves seeing so many people while she’s at work, seeing regular customers, and knowing what they’re about to get. Also, Ferrell told me she has been working there for about a couple of months and just goes over there since it’s right across from the high school, right after school. So the first question I asked Ferrell was why she decided to work at the 441 North Drive-Thru out of all places. “I decided to start working there because it’s just right across from school, so it’s easier for me than having to drive across town to get to work, and also I just wanted a job where I’m just always moving,” Ferrell said. Hearing that response from Ferrell was a very reasonable and thought-out answer of why she chose to work there out of all places. The second and last question I asked Ferrell was Does she enjoy her job, and if so, why. “YES, I love working there so much because my coworkers are so nice and customers are mostly so nice and I just love seeing so many people, even if it’s just for a little bit of time,” Ferrell said. That last response from Ferrel was very wonderful and warm-hearted, and I’m very happy for being able to have a job she enjoys.
