All Good Eats

A well-balanced diet is important because it provides our bodies with the nutrients we need to stay healthy and energized. It includes different types of foods such as fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables give us vitamins, minerals, and fiber that keep our bodies strong. Foods that contain grains also provide energy. Proteins, such as those found in chicken, help build and repair muscles and tissues. Additionally, dairy products provide us with calcium for strong bones and teeth. Another thing that is important is drinking lots of water. Drinking lots of water keeps our bodies working properly and makes our skin healthy.  All junk food and fast food, and sugary drinks should only be eaten once in a while since they can cause harm to our health. “Eat healthy to live longer,” Caitlyn Gaucin said.
