Debate National Tournament

The Debate team had a new tournament recently, in which only varsity members attended. Everyone competed in an event called “legislative.” This debate style simulates being in the government, where participants pass a bill/law in Congress. The lucky varsity members also got to go to SeaWorld after the event. “I’m happy my team made it to the nationals, I’m so proud!” Matthew Bauer says.
