Background:

Patrick Sanders is an English teacher. He was raised in Orlando. He decided to teach in Okeechobee because of a convention for potential teachers, and the line for Orlando was very long, while Okeechobee had no one. The principal at the time had asked him how he would like to teach at Okeechobee, and he said sure. He went to school for two years at Valencia and two more years at UCF to achieve his undergraduate degree, and later on, achieved his graduate degree.

Advice:

Sanders’ advice for students is that if they mess around in school you will end up as a teacher, he said that students should do something with their lives.

Fun Facts:

• Mr Sanders is not fond of Okeechobee.
• He is certified to teach both history and English.
• If he could be an animal, he would be something that flies or a cat.
