Neighborly Navarrete

Always at school, Jose Navarrete teaches math, he enjoys teaching it because he sees how eager every one is to learn. He went to school for four years at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.

He is from the ‘mean streets of mexico’. He loves teaching and has dreamt about it since he was a kid. He came to teach at Okeechobee because he wanted to teach at a place where “kids would really appreciate their teachers and realy want to learn math to the best of their ability.”

Advice:

“My math teacher once told me ‘yesterday is gone thats why we call it history, tomorow we dont know about; thats why its a mystery, but today is a gift thats why its called the present,'” said Navarrete.
