The OHS Debate Team just had its national qualifiers in Palm Beach Gardens! This might answer some questions you have. Who went and what did they debate? Skylar Grimsley (Senate), Emmett Ryan (House), and McKaylinn Hatfield (Senate) all debated in the category of Congressional debate. Kaci Bell, Orlando Masso Laguardia, and McKaylinn Hatfield all debated in the Lincoln-Douglas Debate category. Zia Maselli, Skylar Grimsley, and Emmett Ryan all participated in the United States Extemporaneous Speaking event. “It was a great tournament, I feel like everyone did amazing, but I have to come through for my team, of course.” Mathew bauer (10) says.
