Background:
Beth Box is a teacher at Okeechobee High School. She teaches a couple of English classes, as well as the AP Capstone program and AP Psychology. She has taught for 15-16 years. She went to the University of West Florida and also Arizona State University. She went to school for eight years, taking a break after six years. She is from Okeechobee and loves her job.
Advice:
“Talent has alot more to do with hard work than it does just something natural that you’re born with. You can get good at anything if you’re willing to put in the effort,” Box said.
Box says to always have pride in what you are willing to acheive and to have determination, she also suggests students to take AP Psychology, as it is helpful to understand people and yourself.
