Golf is one of the smaller sports in the school, but also one of our Brahmans Favorite. There are only two players on the girl’s teams, and they didn’t have a boy’s team this year. This year all of the Golf courses in Okeechobee are closed. The KOA is closed due to Covid, and the other one is Blue Heron is closed due to the Irrigation system was broken and there was a new owner who is trying to make the golf course nicer. The Golf team doesn’t have anywhere to practice in Okeechobee. So they sometimes have to go out of town to play or go to the Driving Range. The closest golf course we have to Okeechobee is in Sebring, FL. The KOA is only a 9 hole course and Blue Heron is a 18 hole course.
