What is Drama Club?
Drama Club is a club provided at Okeechobee high school that teaches young learners about the art of the stage. Those who believe that they cannot be in this club because of stage fright are mistaken. The art of Drama does not completely require acting as one might believe. Drama Club lets people experience what it’s like to work backstage, on stage, and even behind the scenes in the world of Theater.
This club involves and teaches those with many different talents. Such as acting techniques, makeup, singing, or even dancing! While they get to show their talent, they also learn in the process about acting techniques, what happens behind the scenes in a play, and even the history of theatre. Overall they learn, experience, discover all of this, and more.
