During a school spirit week, students celebrate their school pride by participating in activities related to school’s sport teams, students wear colors and compete in special spirit week contests. Usually this school spirit is held during the week before the school’s homecoming, but any week of the year can be used. While school spirit week is a lot of fun, coming up with creative ideas every year can be a challenge.
So one of the school spirit weeks that students like to enjoy the most is dressing up according to a different theme each day. The more creative the spirit week themes, the more fun it is. We make sure photographers take a lot of pictures for the yearbook and award prizes to students from each grade level who exemplify the day’s theme.
For each class that competes together that wins a competition could win free food or gets a prize from a teacher, every school spirit the school always does something or they will let the seniors pick first and then it goes down the list.
