What’s Rodeo Club?
Rodeo is a club provided by Okeechobee high school. This club provides kids with an understanding of agriculture, showing animals, and of course, rodeos. They do this by attending and seeing rodeos. In fact, on October 9th and 10th there will be a rodeo at the Okeechobee Ag Center. So come on over and experience the joy of the rodeo.
Rodeo club not only attends rodeos but also as Nick Hopleins (a senior) said, “Traps and target shooting is an exciting sport you can do through the OHS rodeo club.” Even while doing all these things there club also helps out in the Mentoring Program. The Mentoring Program is a program where students mentor kids with “high risk,” who need support, ideas for the future, etc. All in all, this is the Okeechobee High School Rodeo Club. In memory of “Rodeo time Ol`son,” Emma Jimmerson (’25) said.
