Discussing Duran’s day at OHS

Here’s a day in the life of a sophomore named Gaury Duran.

This article’s going to be about Duran’s day. Basically what he did inside and outside of school as an OHS student. Here’s a little bit about Duran, he plays soccer for the high school and is a good student. Now let me get started about his day on Wednesday. He woke up at 6:10 to get dressed for school, ate breakfast, and then walked to his bus. He got to school at 6:50 and then the bell rang at 7:00. Then he went to his first-period class which is Building Construction Technologies.” Building Construction Technologies is one of my favorite classes because we learn actual real-life stuff and do stuff outside instead of learning from a book,” Duran (10) said. In that class, he went outside, worked in a group of four with his friends and they measured stuff outside. When the bell rang he walked to his second period, his second-period class is English 2. In English 2, he watched a play and had to write a paragraph summarizing it. Next was his third period, his third period is Spanish 1. ” Spanish 1 is one of my favorite classes because I already know Spanish,” Duran (10) said. In Spanish 1, he had to write down vocab and then had free time. After the third-period bell rang he walked to his fourth-period class which is World History. In World History, he did google slides and put information about what he learned. Then he walked to fifth period which is Biology. In Biology, he did a quiz. Finally, he walked to lunch she sat and ate with his friend. Next, he walked to his sixth-period class which is Financial Algebra. In Financial Algebra, he did a worksheet. For his last period, he walked to Weight Training 1, in Weight Training 1 he walked a mile and did a 50-yard dash. When the last period bell rang he walked to his bus and got home around 2:35. When he got home he got dressed, left for soccer practice, and when soccer practice finished he went to the gym and then went home. When he got home he took a shower then got ready for bed.

WALKING TO FOURTH PERIOD. Gaury Duran walking up the stairs and stopping to take a picture before his fourth period. Students like Duran have to take the stairs to get to class. ” I like taking the stairs cause it’s a mini exercise before class,” Duran (10) said.
