meet Channing Delegall, a 15-year-old sophomore that plays basketball for Okeechobee High School. Delegall says he started playing basketball at 10 and liked it because it’s fun. Delegall told me that his dad inspired him to play basketball and has been a role model for him as a young man. Delegall said that he does want to go to college for basketball and the college he wants to go to is Florida A&M University. Delegall said he was best moment was dropping 21 points in one game. Delegall told me that he has no good luck when he is playing basketball. Delegall noted that his favorite person to play with while playing basketball is James Jasper who also is a sophomore.” basketball is all about patience and focus don’t let your emotions get the best of you”.
